CPDD Awards and Recognition
We recognize and honor those members who have done an outstanding job within the division and the profession.
- Joseph M. Biedenbach Distinguished Service Award
This is the highest honor awarded by CPDD to a member who has rendered noteworthy leadership and service within the division and in recognition of outstanding service to the continuing professional development of engineers. It is in honor of a man who was the driving force behind an entire era of excellence in continuing engineering education and a valuable member of this division. - Certificate of Merit
This certificate is awarded for outstanding and noteworthy contributions to the division. This could consist of several years or a single unique contribution of major significance. - Certificate of Appreciation
This certificate is usually given to those who have served the division in a leadership role. - Outstanding Paper Award
Awarded to the author(s) of the most significant book or paper on the subject of continuing engineering education published during the previous year.
CIEC Awards
In recognition of exceptional contributions at the CIEC conference.
- Best Workshop Award
Awarded to the workshop presenter/s based upon evaluations of the workshop by peers and colleagues. - Best Session Award
Awarded to the session presenter/s based upon evaluations of the session by peers and colleagues. - Best Speaker Award
Awarded to an exceptional speaker based upon evaluations by peers and colleagues. - Best Moderator Award
Awarded to the moderator who has done an exceptional job in a workshop/session based upon evaluations by peers and colleagues.
